Holidays already?!?
Every year I do several different cards for the Christmas season. With the new baby I’m a little behind on my timeline from usual. I knew that I had to get the Cookie-Cutter Christmas set when I saw the new Holiday catalog. It’s available in a bundle with matching punch so I was sold. During the month of August I put it to use on one of my scrapbook pages for the #31pagesin31days scrapbooking challenge. Check it out on my Instagram page. The cute characters would fit so well with sets I already had. My go-to Christmas colors are Cherry Cobbler and Old Olive but for this fun card, I opted for brighter colors instead, mixing Real Red with the new 16-18 in-color Emerald Envy. Not too bad of a combo I must say. Every year I find myself making three different types of holiday cards, elegant, cutesy/cartoony/ and a mix. So I we can check the cutesy/cartoony off the list for the year. Now to come up with two more designs before it’s go time.
