In so many words
So Mother’s day is coming up quickly here and I want to be prepared. I busted out my new Sweet Laughter from the Occasions catalog to make my first of several cards for special ladies. I used a technique from my friend and fellow SU demo to slant my typeset paper. I didn’t know what else to add to break up all the heavy words and i decided on little banners. They make me think of two things. One- they look like the little cloth bookmarks you find in books sometimes and two- they look like the bottom of a medal (which we all know moms deserve) I even have a picture from the inside of the card too.
I love hand making my cards because (with the exception of Christmas cards) all of them are their own unique snowflake. I generally don’t make the exact same card twice unless asked for sets. I know their card is the only one like it they will get. Perhaps you would like to feel that way too but don’t have the time to craft. Well keep an eye on the FB for some give away opportunities to get your hands on your own unique card to give!
