Making the most with the least
This month I am experimenting with scaling back all the fancy and going with the minimal supplies. Not always do crafters have the ability to have all the fancy gadgets and tools that are seen online. This month I will focus on as little in the way of extras and try to stay mainly with ink, stamps and paper. Also my photo is little dark due to some lighting issues in my office.
I start this experiment with the FREE stamp set Lotus Blossom. This is by far my favorite offering from Sale-a-bration (SAB). During SAB, each $50 you spend allows you to pick one free item. There are a lot available. What is most important to know is that this set is available during SAB ONLY! Once SAB is over, its gone.
Since this is a photopolymer set, I did use one block to do all the stamping. I appreciate how there are numbers on the flower stamps so you can tell which order to do your multi-layered stamping. I used the stem stamp to add the detail and the sentiment is from the same set. I did use my envelope board to round the corners but you can easily skip that step and leave the edges square. This overall didn’t take too long and still is very beautiful and elegant card.
