Not my usual thanks
Now that the holidays are over, it is time to send thank you cards out. We try to send them to the people we receive gifts from from a distance. This year my son happened to get a really neat gift all the way from Nebraska. So I made a kid friendly thank you he could sign himself (he’s 4) since my usual thank you’s are a bit on the “girly” side. I used white craft ink on basic black paper to get the chalkboard effect. I have used my craft ink for many things but this technique is really why I got it in the first place. Added some grunge to make it look messy and rubbed my fingers in the ink and then smudged it around to look dusty. Colored some lines and nail marks to make the base of the card look like a wood frame.
