WCMD 2014

Yesterday was world card making day and despite all the craziness around my house, I made this great piece. The hexagons took some time but then because of how busy the background is I kept the sentiment simpler. After stamping and punching the hexagons, I used sahara sand and daubers to “age” them. Then I adhered the pieces to a piece of sahara sand paper. The set of three flowers on each side of the happy birthday is just a nice addition in plain area for your eyes to contrast from the patterns of the hexagons.
