Time for Fall Colors
This coloring idea came from Pinterest. The original inked up her clear blocks with ink pads and used some water. I wanted to see if I can use the markers to do specific designs with the ink. I used my stampin’ write markers to make little circles. I started with the lightest and worked my way to the darkest colors. I took a spritzer and sprayed a light coating of water on top of it and pressed the block onto my paper. The results were pretty neat. There is so many possibilities with this style of coloring. I used the I block which is longer and narrower but you could do a whole background like this is you used the larger blocks that Stampin’ Up! has available. I did the same with the leaves though I only used one color on each leave just to give it a little texture. The linen thread is such a good fall feeling addition and I think this is one of my first cards to use the color Cajun Craze. I used my envelope punch board to round the corners of the tag.
