Monday Color Challenge #1
So this was my first week color challenge in which I randomly pick three colors from the My Create Ink database and make something with it. And here it was
I decided to pull out a stamp set that I just don’t use all that often…Daydream Medallions. It looks cool and stacks together nicely but I just don’t reach for it too often. I included all three colors in the floral circle. This time I made a fancy fold card that is sort of like a faux swing card. I fold the paper like normal and then fold the front flap in half again toward the outside of the card. On this little half flap I then adhere the design, after I embossed only that half a flap. You can’t really see it, but there is a white card just hiding behind the flower that is adhered to the designer paper for you to write your note on. And I just love the paper stacks. If you are a card maker and not a scrapbooker you will love being able to get these cool designer papers but not having to worry about storing big 12 x 12 sheets.
