For the special dad’s
So my father in law is an outdoorsy, hunting, retired DNR warden who is for sure not into the frilly and fancy. So when having to make a father’s day card for this type of guy, I was pretty stumped. That is, until I discovered making camo with the Gorgeous Grundge set (Thanks Kim from SCS!) Paired with Lovely as a Tree I got a great no-frills man card to please any outdoorsman. And I love my rotary stamp. It allows me to have any type of message I need. I especially like it for this card because its very understated and not fancy. The banners were created by trimming the strips a little thinner than the punch and tucking just the edge into the punch. Between this and my wood card, I think I am getting the hang of making these “just for guys” cards.
