Stamp with paint
I was playing around with my shimmer paint and thought, why not stamp images with it? Then looking at my Stippled Blossom, I thought to try it with the two-step set. And boy am I glad I did. This turned out really neat. I used the platinum shimmer paint which for is currently available on the clearance rack while supplies last. Usually you stamp the bottom with a light color and have the dark on top but for this, I found the darker colors work best. It really helps the platinum color pop out. I picked one of my favorite of the 2012-2014 In-colors, Midnight Muse for this. Use a dauber to apply the paint directly to the stamp. After I had the base and added the dsp cut with the big shot and the adorning accent die, I wanted to add more shimmer so I pulled out my glimmer paper to add a shiny border. I like the final look, and I am really excited to share this idea with everyone. So think outside the box, what products can you use in a different way today? I know I am already looking at what I have to try something different.
