Keeping it simple

Sometimes when making a card for someone I have to keep in mind what types of things they like. While it’s easy to make elaborate and frilly cards for everyone, sometimes what that person will most respond and like is something on the simpler side. I have a family member who is more of a simple nature person than anything. For this particular card, I played on their simplistic nature. I featured only a few items but the finished product is very pretty in its simplicity. I colored one of the trees from the Thoughts and Prayers set with a fall-ish combination of colors with Old Olive, Tangerine Tango, Cajun Craze, and Chocolate Chip. Add a simple sentiment and some embossing and you have a nice card. The sentiment was popped out with some dimensionals.
