And my Pinterest fascination has led to this…

If you have been surfing Pinterest as I have, you may have come across several cards that go for that quilting look. I didn’t like the whole cluttered feeling of the entire card being a quilt so I thought, why not just glue it to another sheet of paper then cut out a shape? And viola! I used Garden Green, More Mustard, and Elegant Eggplant for this one, using my 1 3/8 square punch (also up for retirement!)  for the “patches” and finished it off with a Itty Bitty Banner sentiment and an Elegant Eggplant oval. The “patches” come from the sadly already gone  Regals DSP. But don’t worry!  It will be available in the new 2013-2014 catalog with all new designs. The hardest part was gluing and lining up the squares and I still didn’t get it perfect. But that just lets you know that it is a one of a kind card right?

I’m super pumped because Wednesday’s piece will feature the new 2013-2014 in-colors and some sneak peak products in the new catalog coming out the end of May. May is also my birthday so here is hoping I get a better camera for these pictures!
